Hi, Everybody:
This Sunday, May 1, is Easter 3 and Nacho Name Tag Sunday. We will have our now-monthly Zoom Coffee Chat at 9:15 am, in-person/livestream Worship Service at 10 am (masks still recommended), and in-person Sunday School at 11 am. We’ll get to see the postponed Virtual Easter Pageant as part of the service (cuteness abounds!). Many people from the local ELCA churches put a lot of work into it – don’t miss it! I will also send out a link to it with Sunday’s email.
Next Sunday is Mother’s Day (I know – already!), and we will be celebrating with carnations during the service and a Mother’s Day Brunch after the service at about 11 am. There will be a sign-up sheet in the narthex so we know how many to expect for the brunch. You may also email me your name and the number of people in your party if you can’t come this Sunday to sign up. Show Mom how much you care by treating her to a free carnation and a meal that you don’t have to do any work for at all!
Since next Sunday is Mother’s Day, the Church Council Meeting will occur a week later than usual on May15 at 12 pm. Council Meetings are normally held on the 2nd Sunday of the month (but you knew that already, being the involved church member you are! [I admire that about you!]).
