Happy 4th day of Christmas, Everybody! Sorry this is so late – Christmas confused me as to what day of the week it is!
Tomorrow’s service, Dec 29, is our annual Service of Poems and Carols. Our 9:30 am worship service will be sprinkled throughout with meaningful Christmas poems and familiar Christmas carols, some with bells! So come, sing, listen, and enjoy! Please stay for the Christmas Brunch in Holland Hall following the service. Hospitality will be providing a wide assortment of brunch-style foods. Feel free to bring any leftover goodies from your Christmas celebrations for the “Island of Misfit Treats!” Can’t eat another morsel of fudge? Bring it along and take home some some fruitcake (there’s bound to be plenty…).
Various Groups on Hiatus: Choir rehearsals will start up again on Wednesday, January 8 at 6:30 pm, and Bell Choir rehearsals will return on Sunday, January 12 at 11:30 am. Sunday School, Confirmation, and Tuesday Bible Study will not be meeting again until sometime in January to be determined – stay tuned.
December 29th (tomorrow!) is the last Sunday to make a 2024 donation to Holy Trinity and have it count for this year. At the end of November, our General Fund was $21,306.08 in the red, so please consider an extra contribution to Holy Trinity if you can. Thanks for your generosity!
If you did not bring home your poinsettias after the 8 pm Christmas Service, please do so today. Poinsettias left at church do not have a good survival rate. (Don’t be guilty of poinsettiacide!)
