First, the sad news. Beloved Holy Trinity member Tammy Kuhlmann passed away on Tuesday. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers during this difficult time. There is no information yet on a Celebration of Life event.
Today is Good Friday. I just sent out an email about tonight’s service at 7 pm including the livestream link, but here it is again for convenience sake:

If you have signed up to contribute plants to the Easter Garden please get them here before 10 am Saturday (bring them tonight when you come to the Good Friday service!). If you didn’t sign up, you can still bring plants anyway – the more, the merrier! There are craft sticks to write your name on and stick in the soil of your plants so you can easily retrieve them after the Easter Sunday service.
Get ready to dust off your Alleluias and Christ Is Risens! The Easter Sunday Worship Service is at 9:30 am, followed by a scrumptious Easter Breakfast put on by Hospitality and the Holy Trinity Youth. At 11 am, there will be an Egg Hunt for the kids starting on the Patio.
White Sunday is coming up on May 4. For those of you who don’t know, White Sunday is a very special day in the life of the Tongan church. That day, the children show their parents and the community how their faith has grown and what they have learned in the past year. Instead of a combined service this year, the Tongan Wesleyan Church is inviting us to their service at noon and the festivities afterward. Rehearsals for the kids continue at 5 pm on Saturdays April 26 and May 4.
We are looking for people to attend the Sierra Pacific Synod Assembly this year to represent Holy Trinity. There are regional on-site gatherings in May (Walnut Creek on May 17 is the nearest), an online business gathering on June 14, and an online budget gathering on November 1. Talk to Pastor Tim if you are interested, and visit https://www.spselca.org/synod-assembly-2025 for more information. The registration deadline is April 26, so we’ll need to know soon!
A planning meeting for the Spaghetti Feed is set for Sunday, April 27, at 10:45 in the Activity Room. The actual Spaghetti Feed is scheduled for Saturday, June 7.
Don’t forget to register your kids for the Musical Theater Camp coming up June 23-27.
