HTLC News Blast – March 6, 2026

Hello All!

This coming Sunday is March 8, 2026 – Lent 3. It is DAYLIGHT SAVINGS, so, since you are losing an hour, let the Praise Band wake you up! It’s also Scrip Sunday, so check in with Pamela if you’d like to take part! Worship and Livestreaming begin at 9:30 am followed by an hour of education! At 10:45 am we will have an Adult Forum by the Trellis Committee, as well as Sunday School, and Youth Group. There will not be a Bell Choir Rehearsal this week. Tongan Worship is at 1:00 pm.

Musical Theater Camp is ramping up for 2 weeks (starting June 15th) this year and you can help! Watch for the bulletin board with ways you can contribute! We are especially interested in those who’d like to receive a per week stipend to help out.
2026 Revised Constitution – There are copies on the usher desk and an electronic copy available. Please let the office know.
Tell Us Something Good Devotional – Our friends at A Sanctified Art have provided a special e-reader version of this year’s Lenten devotional, which you can access on your computer and mobile devices:online.flippingbook.com/view/546389771/ In order to protect their work, please refrain from sharing this link or posting it on social media to anyone outside of Holy Trinity. The reader is cool, and there are paper copies by request (to Pr. Barb).
Got Flowers? Vicky could use some silk flowers for the bulletin board for Easter. Put them in the box in the narthex. On Easter we’ll have real flowers for our Easter Garden!
Oops! Pr. Barbara failed miserably in the IT department last week. If you’re wondering why you didn’t hear back on an email – we didn’t get it – so please send it again! It’s been fixed now!
Seder Meal If you haven’t been the Seder Meal here at Holy Trinity, consider coming this year. Save the date and sign up soon because there is limited seating. Sunday, March 29^th at 5:00 pm. Bryan MacFarlane is a wonderful chef and this is an experience you won’t want to miss. The Hospitality Team does their amazing magic and the service is meaningful and fun! And the food’s amazing!
Reminder – If you are on the campus, please remember, whether you opened them or not, to lock the doors, shut any windows, and to always watch out for the little ones and make sure we leave things cleaner than we found it!

Odds and Ends – We have an opportunity to make a better playground for our kids and our neighbors. Please contact Carmen or Pastor Tim if you’d like to help make that happen, and we’re working on hymnals to make our worship space more usable, so you’ll hear more about both of these. Lastly, the Celebration of Life for Don Ehlers will be on Wednesday, March 11^th, at 11:00 am here at Holy Trinity.
