HTLC News Blast – Friday, May 29, 2026
Hello Everyone! A busy week! The Musical Theater Camp Parent Night was a blast. Thank you to all of the volunteers! Tomorrow, May 30th, Kellie and Pamela will attend the Synod Assembly in Sunnyvale, Kathleen is holding Musical Theater Camp Auditions at 10 am, in case you know someone who’s interested! AND – the Spring Flute Concert is at 2 p.m. tomorrow as well! I heard there will be 17 flutes! What a treat!
This Sunday, May 31, we will be celebrating Trinity Sunday. Since it is the 5th Sunday, it is Stewardship Sunday. Celebrate the ways you can be good stewards of the world God has given us. Worship, both in person and live stream will begin at 9:30, followed by Song Selection at 10:45 and a Musical Theater Camp Planning Meeting at noon. Youth Group will not meet this Sunday. Tongan Worship is at 1:00 pm
What’s Happening!?
- Youth Group – The Youth Group will be taking a break until June 28th, then hit the floor running to plan the rest of the summer.
- Father’s Day Brunch – June 21st!
- Calling All Graduates! – We would like to honor all of our graduates. If you or someone you know is graduating this year, please fill out one of the forms located on the media table in the narthex and either give it to an usher, put it in the Parish Life Coordinator’s box or email to plc@holytrinityfremont.org by June 8th. This includes all of those graduating from Middle School, High School, College, University, Advanced Degree, and Certificate Programs. We do not want to leave anyone out!
- Come Help Worship Happen – If you’d like to be a reader, lay assistant, communion helper, on altar guild, or help in worship some other way! Talk to Carmen and/or come to the Assistant Training on June 7th at 10:45 am in the sanctuary.
- Pick your favorite! – It’s time to pick your favorite hymns! We will fill June and July with all of your favorite hymns! If we have enough hymns we can have Christmas in July, or Camp Sunday, and always Praise Band Sunday, it’s so much fun! Fill out the blue card and put it in Carmen’s cubby or give it to one of the ushers and they’ll do it for you! So fun!
- Check out the Pew Racks! – We’ve got all new stuff! Thanks Miedemas for the info sheet and Faye & John for making it all happen!
- ELW Hymnal Fundraiser – We are excited to launch our ELW Hymnal Fundraiser—an opportunity to help provide hymnals for our pews and support the shared song, prayer, and worship life of our congregation. Having hymnals available will give us greater flexibility in worship, from hymn sings and harmony singing to those moments when we simply want to lift our voices together in faith. You are invited to give in honor or memory of a loved one, allowing each hymnal to carry not only music, but also stories of faith, love, and connection. Our goal is to purchase at least 44 hymnals at a cost of $35 each. Donation forms are available in the narthex/church office. We invite you to take part in this meaningful act of generosity as we continue to sing the story of God’s love together.
- Take ‘em home! – Please feel free to take home any Green or Blue Hymnals! Check for a Dedication Page and remember someone who helped to grow your faith. They are on a table in the narthex.
