HTLC News Blast – November 21, 2025
Hello Everyone!
Well, it’s all about bread this Sunday! Jesus as the bread of life, the Blessing of Many Breads at communion, and even some stewardship advice in the insert about what we can do if we make some extra bread this year!
This Sunday, November 23rd, is a combination of Christ the King Sunday, and Thankfulness Sunday. It is also Loose Change Sunday so don’t forget the pennies, even if they have stopped making them. We’ll begin the day with Worship and Live-Streaming at 9:30 am. After church at 10:45 am is the Thanksgiving Potluck Brunch! Turkey – both roasted and smoked will be served and some amazing gravy and other stuff, so find your recipes for sides to complete the meal and we’ll all give thanks together! Youth Bell Choir, Sunday School, Youth Group and Adult Bell Choir will not meet. At 1:00 pm Tongan Worship will begin.
There are lots of things coming up soon! The Audio/Visual Team will do trainings on Nov. 30th and Dec. 14th after worship, then a Sound training in January. You can still give cash for Adopt an Angel until Nov. 30th, call Cheryl Kuhlmann at 510-502-0890 for questions, and you can begin to bring stuff for Reverse Advent starting next week! If you’d like info on making an Advent Wreath at Christ the King, please email ctkfremont@sbcglobal.net.Our young folks will be performing in the Christmas Pageant on Dec. 14th (see rehearsal schedule below) and the Smith’s are having a Christmas party for those 18-24 somethings on December 18th. You can see Kellie Barron for more info about that! And to clarify the Sunday School and Youth times there is 2nd schedule below!

Lastly, please don’t answer an email request to receive a pdf of our directory, and do not go to Bible Study on Tuesday as they are taking a break for Thanksgiving week.
