HTLC News Blast – October 31, 2025
Hello, Everyone!
This Sunday, November 2nd, is All Saints Sunday, so the names of saints will be lifted up during worship. It’s also Nacho Nametag Sunday, so you can go light on breakfast! We’ll begin the day with Youth Bell Choir at 9:45, then Worship and Live-Streaming at 9:30 am. Sunday School and Youth Group gather at 10:45. There will be no Adult Bell Choir Practice. Tongan worship is at 1 p.m.
Trunk or Treat tonight from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm! Drop by and bring your friends! There will be 9 trunks with candy! Many thanks to Hospitality Team for the hot dogs, popcorn, nachos, and water (free will offering for food), and to those who are offering their trunks.

Sunday, Nov 9 – 10:45-12:00 pm
Saturday, Nov 15 – 10:00-12:00 pm
Sunday, Dec 7 – 10:45 – 12:00 pm
Saturday, Dec 13 – 10:00-12:00 pm
Sunday, Dec 14 – arrive 9:00 am
Performance during worship, which starts at 9:30 am.
There will be a Special Congregation Meeting on November 9th at 10:45 am, we will meet to consider releasing funds for special projects and to receive an update on the Alameda County Water District proposal to place 2 wells on HTLC property. We will meet in Holland Hall.

It’s time to Adopt an Angel again! Please check out our November Cause of the month for instructions in the insert about how to Adopt an Angel. The tree will be in the narthex (narthex is the church-y word for lobby!) hanging with tags. What a difference these gifts will make to the foster kids in our area.
Christ the King is inviting us to make Advent Wreaths! You can choose between an 8” ring with 4 candles or a 6” ring with one candle. Let them know by the 12th.
