Hi, Everybody:
This Sunday, April 25, is the 4th Sunday of Easter. Usual COVID-19 schedule applies: Zoom Coffee Chat at 9:15 a.m., Zoom Communion at 9:45 a.m., Zoom Sunday School and Zoom Confirmation Class at 10:00 a.m., and non-Zoom Online Worship Service available to watch starting Sunday morning (or Saturday evening, if the planets align causing me not to procrastinate). This week, we get to hear from our Ministry in Context Student Tori Valcarcel, whom we share with Christ the King (but I’m sure she loves us more!). She will be providing the Children’s Time and Sermon, and she does a great job. So be sure to give her a warm virtual welcome (no virtual heckling!).
Tired of the words “virtual” and “Zoom”? (I know I’m tired of typing them – though I’ve finally learned where the v and z keys are!) Well, things are looking up, and we need to start planning how and when we can get back to in-person activities. If you haven’t already, please fill out the HTLC survey. We need your opinion!
That’s about all I have for today. If anyone from Christ the King is reading this, I was just joking. I’m sure Tori loves us equally (like my mom loves my siblings and me equally [but me most of all]).
– Keith, your friendly Parish Life Coordinator (i.e. Church Secretary)
