Hi, Everybody. Happy belated 4th of July.
This Sunday, July 7, is the 7th Sunday after Pentecost and Nacho Name Tag Sunday. Worship is at 10 am as usual. It’s your last chance to submit your favorite church songs by completing a Favorite Hymn form and placing it in Carmen’s box or by emailing her (carmenjblair@gmail.com) by 11 am this Sunday. Please limit yourself to two and note if there are particular verses you like. Be sure to put your name on them so we can avoid hymn hogs know who to congratulate for their good taste. No name, no acclaim!
Thank you to the kids and volunteers of HTLC’s Musical Theater Camp who practiced and worked hard to bring us the musical “Esther” last week on Friday and during the worship service on Sunday. Thank you to Kathleen Keating, Pastor Barbara and all the other volunteers who helped out, and especially to the kids for sharing their talents with us! It was fabulous! (I hear, since there was no livestream for me to watch, dagnabbit!)
The HTLC Council Meeting for July will be taking place a week later than usual on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 11:30 am in the Activity Room. All are invited to attend (you know, if that’s your thing).
