Hello Everyone!
This Sunday, August 16, we will be celebrating the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Rick and Collette Koski at a lunch reception following worship at 10:45 am. All are welcome! Rick and Collette have invited you to please least stop by Holland Hall and get a plate of food, if you cannot stay after worship!
It’s also Fill the Food Barrel Sunday. Worship and Live Stream both begin at 9:30 am. Youth Group will not meet this week due to the reception. Tongan Worship is at 1:00 pm.
There will be a Celebration of Life here at Holy Trinity for long-time Holy Redeemer member Joy Ross, on Friday, August 21st at 1:00 pm. Please share this info with anyone who may not be receiving this email!
What’s Happening:
- Reception on Sunday – All are welcome to the reception. If you’re not able to stay and celebrate, Rick and Collette would love for you to grab a plate of food to take with you!
- Youth Group – Due to the reception, Youth Group will not be meeting this Sunday. Next week, August 23rd, Youth and Parents will meet for a 2027 Youth Group Planning Meeting during Youth Group time from 10:45 – 11:45 am.
- Rally Day – Rally Day will happen on Sunday September 13th, right after church! Please invite anyone who might enjoy Sunday School! And who wouldn’t?
- Tuesday morning Bible Study – will resume on Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 am with the book, “What Is the Bible?” by Rob Bell, a really fabulous writer! Pastor Tim is our equally fabulous facilitator!
- Audio/Visual Help – We are looking for a couple of folks who could fill in for 2 Sundays when our Visual folks need to be away from worship. It turns out that it’s not really tricky, just needs someone to give some time for a bit of training. Even Pastor Barb was able to fill in once, so it can’t be too difficult! 😀
- Are You a Baker? – There’s a very simple recipe to make the pita bread we use for worship. The recipe and the sign-up to provide bread for communion are both on the same clipboard on the Media table in the narthex, which is basically the same as a lobby, only in church language
- TIME TO CELEBRATE ART’S 90th BIRTHDAY – Sat, Oct 17 Holland Hall, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Please join us to celebrate Art’s 90th birthday with food, family, friends and fun. No presents, please!!! Since He and Cheryl will be traveling during most of September and part of October, an RSVP by Sept 1 would be appreciated. RSVP by Oct 5 at the latest, please. Thanks!!
