Hello Everyone!
This Sunday, August 23rd, we will be celebrating Camp Sunday. It’s also Lutheran Loose Change Sunday. Worship and Live Stream both begin a 9:30 a.m., followed at 10:45 am, when the Youth will come together with their parents to discuss the 2026-2027 Youth Group Calendar.
The Celebration of Life on Friday, August 21st, for Joy Morgan was a – well, a joy!
What’s Happening:
- TODAY Youth Group Planning! – The Youth Group and their parents will meet today at 10:45 am in the Youth Room to plan the 2026 – 2027 Youth Group Year!
- Rally Day – Rally Day will happen on Sunday September 13th, right after church! Please invite anyone who might enjoy Sunday School! And who wouldn’t?
- Tuesday morning Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 am with the book, “What Is the Bible?” by Rob Bell, a really fabulous writer! Pastor Tim is our equally fabulous facilitator!
- Audio/Visual Help – We are looking for a couple of folks who could fill in for 2 Sundays when our Visual folks need to be away from worship. It turns out that it’s not really tricky, just needs someone to give some time for a bit of training. Even Pastor Barb was able to fill in once, so it can’t be too difficult! 😀
- Hymnal Report – Holy Trinity always comes through! We have the 44 we wanted and perhaps a few more. We’ll give a final report when we put them out.
- Spam Alert – Folks in the congregation have been getting emails that are supposed to be from Pastor Tim and are NOT. Beware and always check the email address and / or verify with Pastor or the church office before you answer.
- TIME TO CELEBRATE ART’S 90th BIRTHDAY – Sat, Oct 17 Holland Hall, 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Please join us to celebrate Art’s 90th birthday with food, family, friends and fun. No presents, please!!! Since we will be traveling during most of September and part of October, an RSVP by Sept 1 would be appreciated. RSVP by Oct 5 at the latest, please. Thanks!!
