HTLC News Blast – Friday, July 24, 2026 – Christmas in July
Hello Everyone!Don’t you just love Christmas! Well, this is your chance to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of Christmas! This week we celebrate Christmas in July! If you bake, bring cookies to share! If you love to sing, know that you’ll sing your favorite carols this week! If you love Jesus, just come and enjoy!
This coming Sunday, July 26th, is also the day we bring Loose Change, so check your couch cushions! Worship and Live Stream begin at 9:30 am, followed by Christmas Goodies! Youth Group starts at 10:45am and Tongan Worship is at 1:00 pm.
Here’s What Happening here at HTLC!
- THANK YOU TO THE BAKERS! – Thank you to those who brought Christmas treats for all of us to enjoy following our Christmas in July Service!
- Next Week – August 2nd! – There is a Special Congregational Meeting directly after church to vote to direct funds toward some facility maintenance needs.
- ELW Hymnal Fundraiser – Thank you for all of you who have donated toward bulletins! We are close to having enough, but we are not there yet. You are invited to give in honor or memory of a loved one, allowing each hymnal to carry not only music, but also stories of faith, love, and connection. Our goal is to purchase at least 44 hymnals at a cost of $35 each. Donation forms are available in the narthex/church office. We invite you to take part in this meaningful act of generosity as we continue to sing the story of God’s love together.
- Today is the last day – to contribute to the ADOPT AN ANGEL School Supplies and Backpack Drive
- If you haven’t had the time to shop, a gift of Cash will be gratefully accepted to allow Cheryl to purchase anything that is still needed.
- Do you have a project idea for Seeds of Faith? – Looking for someone to work on the idea with you? Submit your idea (such as “Playground for the Community”) to Pastor Barbara. Once a month, the ideas will be printed in the insert. If something is of interest, please let Pastor Barbara know and she will get you in contact with each other.
- Rally Day – Rally Day will happen on Sunday September 13th, right after church!
- Tuesday Morning Bible Study –Tuesday morning Bible Study will resume on Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 am

Rick and Collette want everyone to know that the Renewal of Vows will be part of worship and all are welcome to take part in the reception to follow.
