Hello Everyone! There is a Special Congregational Meeting this coming Sunday, August 2nd, where we will have a single vote about maintenance spending directly after worship. We’ll need a quorum, so please stay, Nachos to follow!
This Sunday, August 2nd, we will be celebrating the 10th Sunday after Pentecost. As I said, it’s Nacho Name Tag Sunday. So fun! Worship with Live Stream begins at 9:30 am, directly followed by the Congregational Meeting. Youth Group will begin after the Congregational Meeting at 10:45 am. Tongan Worship will be at 1 pm.
WHAT’S HAPPENING?
- TODAY AFTER WORSHIP – There is a Special Congregational Meeting directly after church to vote to direct funds toward some facility maintenance needs.
- Tuesday morning Bible Study – will resume on Tuesday, September 15th at 10:00 am with the book, “What Is the Bible?” by Rob Bell, a really fabulous writer! Pastor Tim is our equally fabulous facilitator!
- Rally Day – Rally Day will happen on Sunday, September 13th, right after church!
- Hey! There’s a donut sign-up! – If any of you enjoy a donut after church and would love to return the favor, please sign up to bring donuts – at the table in the narthex. The ushers can show you where!
- ELW Hymnal Fundraiser – Thank you for all of you who have donated toward the hymnals! Today is the last day of our drive! You are invited to give a hymnal in honor or in memory of a loved one, allowing each hymnal to carry not only music, but also stories of faith, love, and connection. Our goal is to purchase at least 44 hymnals at a cost of $35 each. Donation forms are available in the narthex/church office. We invite you to take part in this meaningful act of generosity as we continue to sing the story of God’s love together.
- Rick and Collette invite everyone to their Renewal of Vows which will be a small part of worship on August 16th. ALL are welcome to come to the reception to follow. Please RSVP so that the Koski’s have a potential food count!
