HTLC News Blast – Friday, June 5, 2026
This Sunday, June 7, 2026, Worship with Live Streaming begins at 9:45 am and we will have a training for worship assistants after church. If you love to read, or sing, or serve or do all three, stay after church at 10:45 am in the sanctuary. It’s also Nacho Name Tag Sunday so prepare your appetite and grab a name tag when you come in. There may be a new person who is wanting to know your name! Tongan Worship begins at 1 pm.
What’s happening!
- Pick your favorite! – This is the last Sunday to pick your favorite hymns! We will fill July & August with them! We hope to have Christmas in July, Camp Sunday, Praise Band Sunday. Fill out the blue card and give it to Carmen, or to one of the ushers and they’ll do it for you! So fun!
- Calling All Graduates! – We would like to honor all of our graduates. If you or someone you know is graduating this year, please fill out one of the forms located on the media table in the narthex and either give it to an usher, put it in the Parish Life Coordinator’s box or email to plc@holytrinityfremont.org by June 14th. This includes all of those promoting or graduating from Elementary School, Middle School, High School, College, University, Advanced Degree, and Certificate Programs. We want to include everyone!
- Father’s Day Brunch! – Wait for it….BBQ Chicken thighs and drumsticks, Beans, Potato Salad, Slaw, Cornbread, and Ice Cream with Toppings. Wow! Please sign up at the media table so our fabulous Hospitality Team has an inkling as to how many. Oh, and you can sign up to help, too!
- Take ‘em home! – Please feel free to take home any – or all – of the Green or Blue Hymnals! take one with a Dedication Page of someone you know and cherish the memories!
- Check out the Pew Racks! – We’ve got all new stuff! Feel free to take the large one to share with someone who would love it here! Thanks Miedemas for the info sheet and Faye & John for making it all happen!
- ELW Hymnal Fundraiser – We are excited to launch our ELW Hymnal Fundraiser—an opportunity to help provide hymnals for our pews and support the shared song, prayer, and worship life of our congregation. You are invited to give in honor or memory of a loved one, allowing each hymnal to carry not only music, but also stories of faith, love, and connection. Our goal is to purchase at least 44 hymnals at a cost of $35 each. Donation forms are available in the narthex/church office. We invite you to take part in this meaningful act of generosity as we continue to sing the story of God’s love together.
- Musical Theater Camp in a week and a half – CHURCH WILL BE AT 10 AM – JUNE 28, Camp begins on June 15th. There is plenty of time to register, if you know anyone who’d enjoy these amazing weeks! M-F June 15-19 & 22-26, 28 Performances are on Friday, June 19th at 6:30pm; Friday, June 26th at 6:30 pm, and Sunday, June 28th during 10:00 am (a change of time) worship. Thank you all for all of the ways you have made this happen!
