HTLC News Blast – Friday, September 18th
Hello Everyone! Rally Day happened last week, so Sunday School, Confirmation, and Youth Group begin anew this coming Sunday. Many thanks to fabulous leaders! Hey! Youth Bells will rehearse Sunday morning before church at 9:15 am in Holland Hall!
This Sunday, September 20th, we will be celebrating the 17th Sunday after Pentecost, with two very familiar readings. Jonah pouts under a bush and Jesus talks about those laborers in the vineyard. It’s also Fill the Food Barrel Sunday. Youth Bells begin at 9:15 am, then Worship with Live Stream begins at 9:30 am followed by Sunday School, Confirmation, and Youth Group at 10:45 am. Tongan Worship is at 1:00 pm.
Here’s what’s Happening:
- Thank you to all faith educators! – With the kickoff of Sunday School last weekend (Rally day), we want to thank all those that are instrumental in the faith journey of our young people and adults. Not everyone was available for the blessing, but we want to lift these individuals up in prayer for this Sunday school year as well as summer camp. Ann Harren, Abi Vadivel, Krista Lanzarotta, Christina Blevins, Janice Schaefer, Marta Wicke, Nate Wicke, Aaron Blevins, Michael Keating, Kathleen Keating, Pastor Barbara, Pastor Tim, and our confirmed youth who help with Sunday School, Chris, Zach, & Nathan. We could always use an extra set of hands, so please let Marta or Ann know if you are available to help out Sunday after service.
