Hi, Everybody:
Tomorrow (Sat. Nov. 12) is the Holiday Boutique put on by the animal welfare organization Beau’s Bridge club and hosted by Holy Trinity. It runs from 9 am to 3 pm and includes lots of interesting handmade products. Holy Trinity has the concessions, so you know the hot dogs and nachos will be tasty. We will also have an information and craft table with things handmade by our own members, so come by and say “Hi.”
Also tomorrow, there will be a Christmas Pageant Rehearsal in the Sanctuary from 10 am to 12 pm. HTLC and HRLC kids will be working hard with Kathleen to make the performance on Dec 12 as impressive as ever. Here is the rest of the pageant schedule:

Now, we finally get to this Sunday, November 13! It’s the 23rd Sunday after Pentecost and Scrip Sunday. Pamela Metcalf will be placing a Scrip order next Monday, November 14, so please get your orders in before then! We have the Angel Tree up, so if you’re giving gift cards or plan to use scrip to buy gifts, you’ll get them on Nov 20th. And, of course, the Holidays will be with us before we know it – time now to get prepared for the grocery shopping, gift buying, and those small thank-yous that come with the season. Also this Sunday, there will be a Council Meeting at noon. If you would like to attend by Zoom, please contact Marta Wicke for Zoom details.
We will be having a Thanksgiving Potluck next Sunday, November 20, after worship service. Sign up at the Media Table in the narthex to bring salads, sides, or desserts. Hospitality will be providing turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, bread, and beverages. It’ll be our first potluck since before COVID. Reason to give thanks, indeed!
What with potlucks, holidays, and pageants, the Sunday School/Confirmation Class schedule can be a bit confusing. Here’s what’s happening the rest of the year:
11/13 – Sunday School
11/20 – No Sunday School (potluck)
11/27 – No Sunday School (holiday weekend)
12/04 – Sunday School with HRLC here at HTLC
12/11 – No Sunday School (Christmas pageant)
12/18 – Sunday School
After that, no Sunday School until January 22, 2023.
